San Jose’s SJFAM (San Jose’s Fashion, Art, And Music) organization is hosting their second annual charity and auction event “Art Sole 2″. This auction event is aimed to benefit the “Downtown Doors” organization that foster high school students creativity around the city. Which showcases five local talent and creativity from artists who use the shoes as their canvas. SJFAM hopes to acheive their goal of fostering the city of Sillicon Valley as a supporting haven of creativity.

San Jose City College Art Gallery presents “Shoes and Such – A Salon Exhibit”. The exhibition opens April 5th and runs through April 23rd. A reception is scheduled for April 17th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00PM at the Art building Room F4.
The Exhibition is comprised of the painting, color and portfolio development students of Mike and Joy Ellner. The work reflects a diversity of techniques, styles, concepts and ranges from figurative representational to non-objective abstraction.
